airBaltic commercial director Tero Taskila:
“BalticMiles is the first loyalty programme to cover all three Baltic States, and nearly 100,000 clients have signed up in less than four months. Neste is an excellent new partner to the BalticMiles loyalty programme. The new currency that is BalticMiles points can now be collected at its petrol stations, too.”
“We are delighted to join the most extensive loyalty programme in the Baltic States as a partner,” says Neste Latvija general manager Christian Hallund. “This offers extra benefits for our clients. They are able not only to fuel their car at Neste A24 stations quickly, conveniently and for the best price on the market, but also earn one point for each litre.”
To celebrate the new partnership, airBaltic will offer the first people who fuel up at Neste A24 stations and use the loyalty programme in this context free flights in Europe. This will start at 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 11, at the Neste A24 station at Lucavsalas Street 1 in Rīga. The first 50 people to purchase at least LVL 20 in petrol and display a valid BalticMiles card will receive not just the BalticMiles points, but also a free flight to any airBaltic destination in Europe.
BalticMiles is the first loyalty programme to bring together a number of companies in the Baltic States. It was launched in October 2009, and at this time, the programme has 14 partners – Neste Latvija, airBaltic, Nordea, Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, Reval Hotels, ESPA Riga, Islande Hotel, SAS, Sixt, Eurolines, LSG Sky Chefs, airBalticTravel.com, Līvu Akvaparks and Forum Cinemas. BalticMiles is an open loyalty programme – an unlimited number of partners from various sectors can join it.
BalticMiles members can collect and spend their points to take airBaltic flights, purchase fuel in Neste A24 stations, make payments with the BalticMiles MasterCard that is issued by Nordea, pay for Latvijas Mobilais Telefons services, stay at Reval Hotels or the Islande Hotel, enjoy treatments at ESPA Riga, rent a car from Sixt, take Eurolines/LUX Express buses, fly on SAS, order food from the airCafe menu for flights on airBaltic, make purchases on airBalticTravel.com, go to the movies at Forum Cinemas, or enjoy more active entertainment at the Līvu Akvaparks water park.
Clients can sign up for the BalticMiles programme by filling out an application form. It can be found in the Baltic Outlook in-flight magazine, at all airBaltic ticket offices, at registration desks, or in the business lounge at the Riga International Airport.
